Fruity Berry Crumble

Ingredients

50gbutter                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    2 medium sized Brambly apples, peeled,cored and chopped
4 plums, stones removed and quartered
200g blackberries
60ml (4tbsp) caster sugar

For the crumble topping
200g pack Hale & Hearty Luxury Crumble Topping                                                                                                                                                                      60ml (4tbsp) Hale & Hearty GlutenFree Porridge Oats
60ml (4tbsp) mixed seeds, e.g. pumpkin, linseed, sunflower

Cooking Instructions

  •  Preheat the oven to 180°C, gas mark 4. Melt the butter in a medium sized pan, then add the apples and plums. Cook over a medium heat, stirring occasionally for 5-8 minutes until soft and most of the liquid has evaporated.

  •  Stir in the blackberries and sugar, then remove from the heat. Divide the fruit mixture between 4 small ovenproof dishes, about 400ml capacity.

  • To make the crumble, mix all the remaining ingredients in a bowl. Spoon the crumble over the top of the fruit. Place on a baking tray and cook for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Serve with extra thick double cream or custard.
